Road trip in Europe

Hello,

I'm getting back to describe an awesome idea I had last week. Next year I have three months free to travel and I wondered where to go. First I thought it would be nice in the USA or travel through Asia. But one evening I saw a picture of the motorcycle I'm going to buy next summer and I told myself it would be sad to leave Switzerland without my new lover. So I got the idea to travel not around the world, but around Europe, from the south to the north and east to west...
For one week already I'm searching things to do and I already found plenty places to visit. Wait, it's nice looking forward to those places, but first here I go with the planification (something I should have learnt in the army).
First step: Which country should I visit and which not? (Yes, not in each country people are friendly with strangers on a nice motorbike)
Then when this was done I looked for things to do in those countries, where I could find an awesome landscape or something interesting to do. I found a concept which is more or less like the spring break in the USA but in Croatia and in summer, so I like to name it summer break. I found nice places to take pictures in Plitvice (Croatia), Salzkammergut (Austria), Czestochowa (Poland), Oulu (Finland), Trondheim (Norway)...
But I like to believe I found something no one I know would do on his own. I found a ferry from Hirtshals (Denmark) to Seydisfjördur (Iceland). I don't know why I'm that much delighted about this journey.
One day after the other I had more and more points on my map and two days ago I decided to try with viamichelin.com how many kilometers I will spend on my bike and more or less how long it will be. So if I drive what I have planned so far I will be 15'000km on my BMW S1000R and I will mean I have to leave for three months if I want to appreciate the journey.
Yesterday I drew the Europe map on a flipshart, a large sheet of paper, in order to visualise my concept in a better way.
I have many things left to organise, like buying tickets for the ferry to Iceland, put dates on the places in order not to be late for the ferry, calculate enough time to visite enough, change my insurance for the motorbike (and first maybe I should buy this famous bike), do a international driving licence, get information about camping in the wild (if it's accepted or if I should hide myself)...
Many informations to search, much to do to be ready, but I'm motivated and I hope to be able to give news about that on my blog.

See you
